Mark Liptrott lives and works in Stockport, Greater Manchester. He studied a degree in Fine Art at Newcastle Upon Tyne 1986-89, and currently works as an art and design lecturer in further education. In 2022 he was longlisted for the Jacksons Painting Prize.
Mark is a recognised graphic designer and his recent design project ‘Bands F.C - Bands as football teams. Football teams as bands.’ exhibited in New York, across the U.K. and culminated in a month-long exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall. Working with well known bands and football teams the project raised over £100,000 for charities.
Mark also writes and performs with the band Colacello.
